Sharp Corporation have announced their new AQUOS U45 4K TV line for the Japanese domestic market, featuring Eilex’ two main technologies: (1) Eilex PRISM® equalization which uses (2) the VIR Filter® filtering technology.
These two key Eilex audio technologies provide the foundation of natural, realistic sound for movies, music, and video games. Eilex PRISM stands at the cutting edge in audio equalization technology, with the most sophisticated measurement method in the world. Eilex PRISM utilizes data from the entire frontal space of the TV to reproduce the sound of your favorite film or album to what the artists intended.
Eilex PRISM uniquely relies not on FIR or IIR filtering, but on a Variable-resolution Impulse Response filter: a VIR Filter. VIR filtering goes far beyond the capabilities of FIR or IIR filtering in terms of effectiveness with a given amount of computing power.
